🔁 Alternative sizes and chains
The size 450x71x82 should only be replaced with the same size: 450 mm width, 71 mm pitch and 82 units. It is not recommended to use close sizes such as 450x71x80, 450x71x84, 450x73x82, 450x76x82 or 450x100x82, without checking on the old circuit.
In some catalogs, the size may be written as 450x71x82, 450 x 71 x 82, 450-71-82, 18″ 450x71x82, RT457182 or 134-7697. The meaning remains: width 450 mm, step 71 mm i 82 units.
With this item there is no additional index like B, T, K, N, W or Y in the ITR catalog number, but that doesn't mean, that it can be freely replaced with another size or another internal profile. The step difference, the number of units or the internal guidance can lead to a difficult installation, incorrect tensioning or accelerated wear of the running gear.
Before ordering it is important to compare the inscription on the old chain, the width, the step, the number of units, the inner guide, The OEM number and model of the machine. With excavators of this class, the exact size is especially important, because the undercarriage works under high load when cornering, digging and moving on hard terrain.
